Apple-Cinnamon Cake
This old favorite must not be missed. The apple-cinnamon cake is always a delight with coffee and tea. Whether you have guests or not, this cake is sure to please. The freshness of the apple combined with a hint of cinnamon has been the secret to its success for years! No one can resist this cake, making it a fun and easy gift to give to someone who simply deserves a delicious slice.
How to Make It?
- Preheat the oven (conventional 175°C, fan 160°C).
- Mix the eggs with the butter. Add the contents of the bottle and a pinch of salt to the mixture. Mix until well combined and spoon into a greased or lined loaf pan.
- Place the pan in the middle of the oven for 60 - 70 minutes. Check the cake halfway through with a skewer. If batter sticks to the skewer, bake a bit longer! If the skewer comes out clean, the cake is ready!
Tip
Have an extra apple? Slice it thinly and arrange on top of the cake as a garnish. It will complete the cake perfectly!
Vegan Variation Tip
Prefer vegan? Easy! Replace the butter with an equal amount of margarine and the eggs with a chia seed mixture. 1 tablespoon of chia seeds soaked in 3 tablespoons of water equals 1 egg.
