How do you make it?

  1. Remove the lemon slices from the pouch and place them in hot water.
  2. Preheat oven to 150 degrees. Put contents of pot in a bowl and add eggs, melted butter and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth batter.
  3. Pour into a greased baking tin and bake for 50-65 minutes.
  4. Decorate the cake with the lemon slices.

Ingredients

self-raising flour (WHEAT flour, baking powder (raising agents E450, E500), WHEAT starch, stabiliser (calcium carbonate)), sugar, poppy seeds (4%), dried lemon (2%)

3 eggs, 160 grams melted butter, pinch of salt

Serving suggestion

Serve extra festive? Make a mixture of icing sugar and lemon juice and cover the cake with the icing.
