At Pineut, it's not just about delicious blends, but especially about the people who create them with care and attention. One of those creators is Sander, who joined Pineut in 2022. He's a detail-oriented person with a deep passion for his work. With precision and delight, he fills the bottles and jars that will later grace people's tables.

How did you end up at Pineut?

I too started in a different department at Stroomopwaarts. When I was offered the opportunity to help out at Pineut one day, I was instantly hooked. Working at Pineut is a perfect fit for me. It's precise work, but also enjoyable and varied.

What do you do at Pineut?

My workday usually starts with weighing all the ingredients. It's precise work, but I love it. Everything has to be accurate down to the gram. Then I fill the bottles and jars with the correct mixes, so each product has the perfect consistency. Once everything is ready, I gather the ingredients and make sure they're neatly placed in crates. This way, every mix looks perfect and ends up in the right place.

What is your favorite Pineut product?

Everything with orange! As soon as we start using it, the whole room smells wonderfully fresh and fruity. It immediately feels like the sun is shining, even on a rainy day. That always brightens my day.

If you were a Pineut product, which product would you be?

The cookie mix, hands down! I love chocolate, especially with cookies or stroopwafels. For me, it's the perfect combination: warm, sweet, and cozy.

What do you enjoy doing most at Pineut?

I love working with precision. It gives me peace and satisfaction, especially when I see what we've created together at the end of the day. New assignments or ingredients? I'm happy to tackle them. It's precisely that variety that makes the job so enjoyable. No two days are the same, and that keeps me sharp and proud.
