Swimming in the strawberries | The story of Dalana

Sometimes you discover your place in the most unexpected moments. Dalana, for example, started at Pineut in 2023 as a temporary substitute and hasn't left since. What drives her, what talents she utilizes, and which product always makes her smile? Read her story.

How did you end up at Pineut?

I used to work in a different department. One day, they asked me to step in because they were short-staffed. And then I knew immediately: yes, this is where I really want to work! This is my level. My supervisor saw that too and immediately said this job was a good fit for me.

What is your (secret) talent?

My secret talent? Weighing ingredients and working quickly. It might sound simple, but that's my strength. I work incredibly fast yet very precisely. I can easily keep up with the pace and ensure the whole team can keep working. And if someone falls behind, we simply step in and help each other out.

What do you enjoy doing most at Pineut?

Opening bags! That's extra easy for me because I have small hands. It might sound strange, but it allows me to work just that little bit faster and more efficiently. And what I also really enjoy is helping my colleagues. We really do it together here, and that's what makes the job so enjoyable.

What is your favorite Pineut product?

"Without a doubt, the strawberry-flavored Watertwist. Whenever we make it, I always laugh and shout to my colleagues, 'I'm going for a swim in the strawberries!' It smells so good and instantly creates a cheerful atmosphere in the workplace."
