At Pineut, it's all about having fun, working together, and creating something beautiful. And that's reflected in our team! This time, we're meeting Gerard , who started at Pineut in 2025 and has been making sure our bottles are filled and ready to ship every day with a big smile ever since. We talked to him about his work and, of course, what he would do if he were Pineut's boss for a day?

How did you end up at Pineut?

I've been working at Stroomopwaarts since 2024. Initially, I was in a different department; I was drawn to Pineut's products, but it was the atmosphere that really won me over. It immediately felt like a friendly and welcoming place. Since 2025, I've officially been part of the Pineut team. And that feels great!

What do you do at Pineut?

My work is wonderfully varied. I fill the bottles with the right ingredients. Everything has to look beautiful, of course! I also package the glass products so they're ready to go to the customer. What makes the job extra enjoyable is the team. We laugh a lot, help each other, and work together to ensure everything runs smoothly. That energizes me every day.

What would you do if you were Pineut's boss for a day?

Then I'd immediately come up with new products. Something with chocolate and stroopwafels, my favorites! A mix with chocolate, caramel, and stroopwafel pieces sounds delicious. It perfectly suits the Pineut atmosphere. And let's be honest: who doesn't love chocolate? I'm sure that would be a hit!

What do you enjoy doing most at Pineut?

Weighing the ingredients! I find it relaxing to measure everything precisely and watch a bottle being filled beautifully. No two bottles are the same, but everything has to be perfect. I also enjoy the variety, and of course, my colleagues make the work even more enjoyable. There's always a good atmosphere, with jokes and friendly chats.

What is your favorite Pineut product?

It's hard to choose, because there are so many! But I'm going for the summer products. They always smell and taste fresh and cheerful, even on a gray day. And anything with chocolate is definitely my favorite. Whether it's hot chocolate or something new: if it has chocolate in it, I'm happy!
