How do you make it?

  1. Preheat the oven (electric 175°C, fan 160°C).
  2. Beat the eggs with the butter.
  3. Add the contents of the bottle and a pinch of salt, then mix until you have a smooth batter.
  4. Spoon the batter into a greased or lined cake tin.
  5. Bake in the centre of the oven for 60–70 minutes.
  6. Check with a skewer: if it comes out with batter, bake a little longer; if it comes out clean, your cake is ready.
  8. Note: baking times are a guideline and may vary depending on your oven.

185 g melted butter, 4 eggs, a pinch of salt

Serving suggestion

Still have an apple lying around? Slice it thinly and arrange the slices on top of the cake as a garnish. The perfect finishing touch!
