How to make it

  1. Add Gin
  2. Begin by adding your favourite gin. Make sure it contains at least 30% alcohol. Note the bottling date and the type of gin on the label. We recommend using a gin you already love – you’ll be amazed at how much the flavour transforms.
  3. The Maturation Process
  4. Once filled, store the bottle in a cool, dark place. The wood chips will gradually release their gentle flavour and warm amber hue. Taste it from time to time to enjoy the development of the flavours. Maturation usually takes around eight weeks, though you can experiment by leaving it to mature even longer.
  5. Serve Your Own Creation
  6. After eight weeks, it’s time to enjoy your own barrel-aged gin. Filter or carefully pour the drink to ensure no wood chips find their way into your glass. And remember – never eat the wood chips.
  7. Cheers!
  8. Enjoy, and drink responsibly.

Made with care

Behind every Pineut product, there's more than just a recipe. At the Pineut Productiehuis people work who, for various reasons, don't have straightforward access to the job market. Here, they get the chance to gain work experience, build structure and develop their talents.

Every product is assembled by hand. Ingredients are carefully weighed, jars filled, labels applied and packaging prepared for dispatch. Each step takes place in an environment where guidance, growth and teamwork come first.

By choosing a Pineut product, you're directly supporting this workplace. You're not just buying an original and flavourful product — you're backing an initiative that believes everyone deserves a fair chance.

That gives every product extra meaning. Not just in flavour, but in impact too.

Certified B Corporation

  • Pineut is a Certified B Corporation. This means the company has been independently assessed on the impact it makes on people, the environment and society.

The certification is awarded by the non-profit organisation B Lab and is only granted to companies that meet high standards for sustainability, transparency and social responsibility.

  • To achieve this certification, it's not just the product that's assessed — it's the whole company.

This includes how employees and suppliers are treated, the impact on the local community and the company's ecological footprint. Companies must also demonstrate on a regular basis that they continue to meet these standards.

  • For you as a customer, this means a Pineut product is more than a gift or a culinary experience. Behind it stands an organisation that makes conscious choices around fair collaboration, sustainable sourcing and social impact.

The B Corp certification shows that profit and responsibility can go hand in hand. By choosing a product from Pineut, you're supporting a company that actively works towards a positive contribution for people, communities and the planet.
