How do you make it?

  1. Measure out the olive oil and balsamic vinegar in a measuring jug.
  2. Add them to the bottle along with a teaspoon of honey.
  3. Give the bottle a good shake and leave it to infuse for at least one week.
  4. After a week your vinaigrette is ready to enjoy – no filtering needed.

According to Greek mythology, Aphrodite, the goddess of love, brought oregano to earth herself. That explains all that Italian passion.

Sounds delicious, but what exactly is vinaigrette?

As Italian as our ingredients may be, vinaigrette itself is French. Oui, oui – it’s the classic French dressing for la salade. Traditionally a simple blend of oil and vinegar in a 3:1 ratio, usually seasoned with salt, pepper or a few herbs. But at Pineut, we like to do things a little differently. Our mix of Italian herbs, spices and vegetables makes this vinaigrette a true outsider – but one that belongs in a category of its own.
